Immersion Tub

Cooling, and keeping on cooling

Extinguishing does not stop a thermal runaway, cooling does, and cooling has to be kept up. As long as a battery stays warm it can reignite hours later. Immersion is therefore the recognised way to prevent reignition, not extinguishing once and walking away.

The tub runs on wheels, so it can be brought to the battery instead of the other way around. For a workshop or storage room, that is the difference between equipment you use and equipment that sits in the way.

Compact where space is tight: the tub fits locations with little room and is built for heavy use in workshops, warehouses, service centres and storage areas. Thanks to its size and easy handling it is ready the moment a battery starts smoking, heats up strongly or shows other signs of an incident.

The striking red colour makes the tub instantly recognisable and quick to locate, so it can be deployed during an incident following the company procedure. Immersion tubs are available in larger sizes on request.
